In 2013 Chameleon Visual came to be with this magical commission to create a menagerie of animals out of John Lewis household goods! Working with a team of model makers at Setsquare Staging, I prototyped each one before handing it over to the team to replicate for the huge quantities we needed for the windows of John Lewis Oxford Street and Peter Jones in Sloane Square. I worked hand in hand with a TIG welder to make each of the eagles, doves, crows and scissor birds.
